Nicolas Winding Refn is an interesting filmmaker. Pusher II, on the surface, is a little more than a Dutch Cinéma vérité gangster movie, but the lead character, perfectly played by Casino Royal's Mads Mikkelson, has that subtle depth that makes Sopranos so great. And even though I was pretty underwhelmed by Bronson (though Tom Hardy's performance makes the film worth watching), I'm pretty excited for this one. Love the drone-turned-T2 soundtrack too.
